On a nice sunny Monday morning I got ready to go to school . My alarm rang at 7:50 and I was so tired my eyes felt like they were glued together . My mum yelled at me to hurry up. She sounded like an angry demon monster so I quickly got up . I was thinking about making my bed but then I just chucked the pillows and blankets because I was not bothered.

  I went to brush my teeth and wash my face . After that I got into my school uniform and did my hair. I yelled and screamed because my hair was not cooperating with me so I just ended up leaving my hair out .

 I was hungry so I decided to go to the shop on my way to school. Before I walked out I put on my crocs , grabbed my bag and searched for my chromebook but soon realised it was nowhere to be found!! I walked out of the door and made my way to school. I was not excited to go to school, especially since I had no idea where my chromebook was but my mood changed once I entered the shop .I chose something to eat for my morning tea.

I chose a rollup and pringles . I knew I couldn’t wait until morning tea so I decided to get an ice cream . I chose Ben and Jerry’s. I walked to the crossing and waited patiently. I then walked across the crossing. I ate my ice cream while walking. As I walked into the school gates I was not excited because I was not excited to learn but as soon as I saw my friends my mood instantly changed.              

Task description : Today I completed my writing task . This writing task was about language Features like hyperbole , similes and metaphors . We had to write 5 sentences connected to our home.

Task description : Today I completed my writing . For this writing task I had to use a image to answer the questions . Then I had to extend the sentences . Then at the end I had to make a story from my image.

There was a boy called picklejuicepapi and it was a normal school day until a new boy came called bittyweebobby. He came and sat next to vivanobanano (picklejuicepapis friend ) . Bittyweeboby acted very suspicious and wasn’t like normal people . Everyday after school he would always run off into a dark house and would always write on a piece of paper while smirking EVERYDAY. One day picklejuicepapi heard a very weird noise coming from bittyweebobbys house . He sneaked in just to find out vivanobanano was there and bittyweebobby was controlling her mind . As he ran and hid behind a drawer he saw hundreds of people around the house doing chores , cleaning and doing much more stuff. Picklejuicepapi was shocked and ran to tell but decided to help him. He quickly wrote a note to bittyweebobby saying i know what your doing its not good . Bittyweebobby wanted to control picklejuicepapi’s mind but felt he didn’t want too . At school they sent notes back and forth until picklejuicepapi finally had the courage to go up to him and stop him . He explained that people did not want to live like that and bittyweebobby understood . He uncontrolled their mind and they became bestfriends.

Task description : Today we learnt about our feelings and emotions . We learnt about Taha Hinengaro and we had to write a time when we felt frustrated , happy , nervous and proud .

Team 4’s topic question this term is “What makes Earth the best place for us to live compared to other planets in our solar system?”

How does the Earth moving around the Sun change things like day, night, and the seasons? The earth’s rotation by the earth when the earth faces the sun it creates summer because of the heat . But when facing the dark side its winter because there is no heat.

 . I drew the sun ,moon and earth . My

 animation shows my moon orbiting the

 earth and then the earth orbiting the

 sun .  Now what causes day and nights

 , Day and nights are caused by the 

earth . The side that’s facing towards

 the sun is day because it creates sunlight 

and heat . But when facing the other side 

There is no sunlight making it night . I learnt 

facts about each planet in the solar system 

and learnt lots of planet and scientist related

 Things. I made this animation on photopea 

By drawing my planets and then using the

Tools and items on  photopea to make it orbit

The sun . I then went onto google vids and 

Made a script then recorded it . 

Task description: Today I completed my task about character description. I had to choose a monster to describe and write a description about everything about it. This task was fun to do and I really enjoyed it.

Task description: Today I completed my adjectives activity. This task was all about adjectives. I wrote what I smelt,heard,felt,saw and tasted. I then wrote a story and generated an image on Adobe express.

Task description: Today for my writing task we were learning about adjectives. We first watched a video about senses and then there was an item inside the bag and we had to guess what it was by feeling it. Then we described the object with 3 adjectives. For my activity I had to write a story about one of the items.

 One day I planned to go to space with my table from school . I asked them “ wanna go to space ?” . They hesitated then agreed. We packed our rocket ship and then went to explore. But then our rocket ship malfunctioned and crashed. CRASH !! BOOM !! We landed on mars. —me, Elena, Carnita, Cullai, Tolati, and PJ were  stuck on Mars. We had to find a way to survive but the ship was damaged, and had no way to communicate with anyone from Earth

Carnita remembered working on something like this. She used her knowledge to repair the rocket ship. Tolati was trying to help Carnita and started making tools to help. While they were repairing the rocket ship, Elena and I explored around trying to find food,water and supplies we might need. Cullai and Pj were doing nothing and were just sleeping

Hours passed. We built shelter,found food and water that could last us for ages !  However after what felt like forever Tolati made a device so we could communicate with the space studio. The space studio came and heard what had happened. They sent out a rescue team to come and save us from Mars.
