Creative Space Term 3 : Positive Difference

Task description : Today I completed my animation. The theme for this term is positive difference , we had to choose between 4 different pillars and I choose Taha tinana. For my Creative space activity I was running around and then drinking water . As you can see I was thinking about what to eat . I did my animation on photopea then did my voice over on Google vids .

Extension : Movie Making

Task description : In extension for the past few weeks we have been working on our maniakalani film festival movie happening in Term 4.  For the 1st and 2nd week we were planning our movie and what scenes we were going to film . I have been in some of the scenes for this movie that we have been making . We have filmed and edited by ourselves with some help from Mrs burton . Most people have their own jobs and tasks on what to do to help make our movie . In this movie its not just us their are also some animations created by the year 5’s and 6’s.

Story boarding: As I said in the first and second week we have been story boarding and planning out all the scenes we were going to film . For story boarding we went into groups of 3 and 4 , We got a sheet of paper . the words and a scene to draw and work on . We had to storyboard that part of that movie. After we completed it we went into bigger groups and worked on 3 things for the movie . One group did camera gear , another one did costumes and my group did props. Story boarding is like planning you basically board your story . You break up the parts and figure out everything you have to fix , do and plan your movie .

 

Acting: Everyone has had a turn in acting and have been very good at acting . I have been in around 2-3 scenes in the movie . We are making sure no one is getting left out and everyone has a scene they are apart of in the movie. This movie has a lot of fun acting in it and fun animations that everyone have been doing . While acting we had fun costumes to put on people and had face paint to put on people .

 

Movie :  Our movie is about the song wiggle town made by the musical group the wiggles . We have been acting to the song and recreating the scenes . We acted out the words in the song and danced to the lyrics. .

Roles : There were multiple roles like face painters , actors , cameraman/camerawoman , directors , costume people and people that make the props for the movie. We also had animators that made animations on photopea.

Taha Hinengaro

Task description : Today its the first day of term 3 . In team 4 we did rotations and we learnt about Taha Hinengaro . For this task we went into room 6 to learn about Taha Hinengaro . We had to make a vision board about what makes up calm and happy . Taha Hinengaro is about having a strong mindset and learning to control our emotions .

Pulse Rates Extension

Task description: Today In extension we were learning about pulse rates. We had to try and feel our pulse on our neck and then add them to a spreadsheet. We did resting pulse, exercising pulse and exercising pulse 2. After we did some exercise and did running on the spot and running around the field. We checked all the differences and then added them to a chart. We put everyones pulse on a chart. There were some that had fast pulses and slow pulses.

Describe My Classroom

The subjects taught in my classroom are photography,gaming and technology. In my classroom we have computers,cameras,vr headsets,ipads and computers. It is a big classroom and has plenty of space. The walls are light pink and my roof is white.  The classroom is only for year 9 to year 12 students . My classroom also has headphones,microphones,mice and Blue and Pink soft chairs that give you warmth. The walls are decorated with whiteboards and fun posters,pictures and drawings. My classrooms have shelves to put stationary,books and folders. We have air conditioners in our classroom to keep us nice and cool. My classroom has L.E.D lights to make the classroom fun! The teacher’s desk is in the corner and  is a shiny metallic table with a soft black chair for comfort.

 

Creative Space Joy : koa koa mai koa koa atu

task description: This term for our creative space project we used adobe express to generate images on what brings u joy. This term we learned all about joy We had to generate images about what brings us joy at home, at school and in the community. I couldn’t animate because of an issue in my chromebook but its okay. I enjoyed doing our project from inquiry. Check our my pictures that bring me joy.
